Dr Marilyn Wyers

Founder, Director and Teacher (Ballet, Contemporary and Pilates)

Marilyn began teaching in Liverpool after graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in dance and music education. She trained as a dancer at Kate Simmonds School of Dance in Warrington in ISTD Ballet and Trinity Laban Conservatoire in Contemporary Dance and Choreogrpahy. She later trained at the St Peters burg State Conservatory, in Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Piano Performance.
She went on to dance in Egypt and to teach at the British International School in Cairo. She then continued to perform and teach in many different countries around the world including Poland, Indonesia, Germany and Turkey.
Marilyn returned to the UK in 2015 to complete her PhD in music and dance education and has recently obtained her ISTD Imperial Ballet and VTCT Pilates teacing qualifications.
In 2016 she set up RDW with an aim of creating an inclusive dance centre that catered for all ages and abilities.

Lucy Clark

Ballet Teacher

Lucy Clark is a dance artist and recent graduate from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she trained for 4 years in ballet, contemporary, and hip hop, gaining a first class in a BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance. During her studies she worked with a number of well-established professionals including Stephanie Schober, Daniel Squire, and Joel Brown, and has also trained externally with Candoco Dance Company, Stopgap Dance Company, and Boy Blue Entertainment to name a few. Lucy is part of Next Artists Collective at Siobhan Davies Studios and has also been accepted onto Studio Wayne McGregor’s PEER Programme.


Lucy’s choreographic work has seen previous collaborations exhibited and performed in art galleries including The Holy Art Gallery and Tate Britain, as well as traditional theatre and film festivals. She is currently undergoing her first tour with fuse, an interdisciplinary collective creating performance art, where she will be performing new and existing work in festivals and theatres around London and Oxford.


Lucy has been teaching young people since 2016 and she enjoys sharing her knowledge with others in fun and engaging ways. She is a member of People Dancing UK and holds an Enhanced DBS certificate.
